A health check is the starting point or framework of your preventative healthcare plan, enabling you to share your particular health status with a professional. Ideally, you will leave with advice and recommendations, and can benefit from support and follow-up on the measures you choose to implement to improve your health. If a condition is identified, you will receive advice and guidance on how to manage it.

Comment se déroule un check up de santé ?

You will fill in one or more questionnaires and undergo a lengthy consultation with your doctor, who will identify your particular condition and recommend useful examinations. The health check-up lasts between two and three hours, and depending on the examinations requested, a hospital stay may be necessary. The tests will vary in accordance with your history, age, gender and lifestyle, but include at least:

  • A blood test
  • A urine test
  • Blood pressure measurement
  • A height and weight check
  • Very often, a comprehensive cardiovascular examination.
